When we think of World Wars I and II, we automatically think of its famed infantrymen. But what about the unsung heroes of these two conflicts?
This project encouraged high school students to think about the vital roles played by First Nations, women and visible minorities in World Wars I and II, and to discover – or rediscover – heroes whose contribution we may have forgotten. Close to 2,000 people have been reached through this educational program.
