: The Recipe for Happiness
In collaboration with

Promoting bilingualism, one recipe at a time: that’s the idea behind our latest project to promote linguistic duality.
Young MasterChefs : The Recipe for Happiness aims to offer an activity that promotes the well-being of young participants by giving them a break from social media. Enter: real teamwork, a real in-person project, a real cookbook, and lots of fun! This experience will also highlight the cultural heritage of both French- and English-speaking participants and demonstrate the quality of work that can be accomplished when the two official language communities collaborate on a shared project and, in this case, a shared recipe!
The project will culminate in the release of a professional bilingual cookbook containing 15 original recipes, which will be printed in color and available for free viewing on the project’s website. Stay tuned!
THE COLLABORATORS

C’est moi le chef! is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to teach children how to cook, thereby increasing their food literacy while instilling them with a sense of pride and responsibility. Founded in 2017, the organization now offers numerous cooking workshops—both online and in person—at libraries, schools, parks, and day camps. C’est moi le chef! also develops a wide range of resources to help children explore foods they’re not familiar with and guide them in using kitchen utensils.
