WRITERS AS GIFTS
THE SPIRIT OF SHARING
The holidays are a special time of year for millions of people around the world. But regardless of our faith or beliefs, it tends to give way to the need for each of us to take a moment and recenter values that, in the end, are shared by all of us. Values we want to pass down to future generations, and those near and dear to us. We therefore propose this series of French and English titles that, first and foremost, speak of generosity, sharing, helping each other, and an openness of heart and spirit. And seeing as winter is finally here, we’ve also included two charming recommendations to welcome the season.
But first, here’s our gift to mark the occasion and warm your hearts. Eight renowned children’s authors each telling a new story on the theme of sharing.
Lydia Lukidis reads ”Boris the bear Learns to share”
Anne Renaud reads ”If Kindness was a color”
Catherine Austen reads ”Winters blues”
Christine Sioui Wawanoloath reads « La disparition du soleil » (In French)
Marie-Célie Agnant reads « L’histoire de Bovi et Anaïse » (In French)
Katia Canciani reads « Le semeur de galets » (In French)
