This project is the continuation of several projects carried out in the past Ville-Marie Borough, taking place in the public sphere and mobilizing residents of all ages along shared values that make Ville-Marie, with its school, streets and parks, a good place to live. Initially, the project will present a series of readings on the fight against bullying and on self-esteem, for preschool-age children in the neighbourhood’s daycares. The project will then move on to École Garneau, an elementary school in Ville-Marie Borough, where artist and art therapy specialist Tania Baladi will facilitate a series of writing and visual art workshops, also on the themes of self-esteem and the fight against bullying. Following a vernissage that will bring together the participating artists and the children who taking part in the project, the written work and photography will be displayed in an exhibition open to the general public, in Parc Coupal.
