RULES OF THE “RACONTE-MOI TA RÉGION” CONTEST
The contest is open to young people and adults in the three spotlight regions this year – Chaudière-Appalaches, Abitibi-Témiscamingue and Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean.
Participants can submit their choice of photo or text!
Photo
- – Only one category: young people aged 9 to 99.
- – Subject: a particular corner of your region.
- – Processing: colour or black and white.
- – Contest runs from May 16 to August 16. Photos received after this date will not be accepted.
- – Prizes: two $200 gift certificates to an independent Quebec bookstore.
- – One winner per region.
Photos must be send by e-mail to linda.amyot@metropolisbleu.org NO LATER THAN August 16. Photos received after this date will not be accepted.
Writing a text – Contest closed
- – Two categories: young people aged 9 to 12 and young people aged 13 to 17.
- – Subject: text on a particular aspect of their region: place, famous person, tradition, activity, etc.
- – Form: poem, story, blog, short story.
- – Length: 1 to 2 pages
- – Contest period: May 16 to June 16.
- – Prizes: two $200 gift certificates to a Quebec independent bookstore.

The winning entries and photos will be published on the Blue Metropolis website.
