Beginning in 2004, a number of students had the opportunity to explore the art of cartooning and explore the sensitive issue of violence. Neighbourgs - Voisins
Neighbours / Voisins is an extracurricular programme aiming to help young people aged 14 to 19 improve their communication skills in a second language through the production of an electronic magazine. Guest experts such as an experienced editor, a photographer, a broadcast journalist or a cartoonist will work with young people in person, through videoconferencing and on an Internet platform. Designed for community groups, Neighbours / Voisins will establish Web hosting in order to make it possible for communities to develop the e-zine further as an ongoing community resource.

Stage Write
Under the guidance of professional playwrights, anglophone students will write and produce a short radio play based on a real or imagined dramatic incident in their community. The students will record and edit the finished play which will be available as podcasts on the Blue Metropolis and other Web sites.
