WRITERS AND SELF-CENSORSHIP

And to what extent is it destructive of the work in progress? With Anke Feuchtenberger, Gary Geddes, Nairne Holtz, David McGimpsey. Hosted by Joel Yanofsky.

FACE TO FACE: ANKE FEUCHTENBERGER
In just a few words, the comics and graphic art of Germany's Anke Feuchtenberger conjures up labyrinths of deceptive simplicity populated by strange child-creatures, where tenderness and terror, delight and despair conspire together. In addition to launching an exhibition of her work at the Goethe Institute, Feuchtenberger presents Somnambule, a 15-minute omnibus of hand-drawn animated shorts, as well as a digital slideshow exploring and explaining her work, and answers questions about her ideas and experiences. Goethe Institute, 418, Sherbrooke Est. Seating limited. With Anke Feuchtenberger. Hosted by Rupert Bottenberg.
