Patricia Claxton

Patricia Claxton is a founding member and first president of the Literary Translator’s Association of Canada /Association des traducteurs et traductrices littéraires du Canada. She has received two Governor General’s Awards for translation, as well as other honours. Her most recent translations, both published in 2008, are Jacques Godbout’s Operation Rimbaud and Monia Mazigh’s Hope and Despair: My Struggle to Free my Husband, Maher Arar.
