Carol Zardetto is part of a generation of writers that lived under the shadow of the Guatemalan civil war. She won the Central American Award Mario Monteforte Toledo with her novel, Con Pasión Absoluta. Scriptwriter and journalist, lawyer and politician, she published recently The Fool’s Discourse, collection of short stories.
