The 11th Blue Metropolis Montreal International Literary Festival will take place April 29 to May 3, 2009.
Are you a writer? Would you like to participate in the Festival?
Are you a publisher? Would you like to suggest some of your authors or to launch a book at the Festival?
Are you an artistic organization? Would you like to propose an event or a partnership?
Here is how to proceed!
To help us present your application to the programming team and the programming committee, please send us a complete file including:
- a bio mentioning the prizes received and the languages spoken
- a list of published works, including the ones in translation
- a photograph
- press clippings
- A detailed budget of your participation (travel costs, lodging, special technical requirements, contributions from the editor or organisation, etc.)
- a copy of the latest book
Please note that we are particularly interested in authors who are launching books in spring (available for the Festival, early April), and we are open to discuss with publishers the possibilities of organising launches during the Festival.
Since we receive very numerous requests, please note that we are not always able to follow up on each one.
