Blue Metropolis Foundation's educational programmes bring professional writers and artists into direct contact with students and their teachers to share the pleasures of reading and writing. Last year, nearly 2,200 young people participated in the innovative programmes we have developed for students at the primary and secondary levels, in adult education centres and in Cégeps. Most of the classes we work with are in and across Quebec, but our educational programmes now also reach into Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia.

We are inspired by the hope that young readers from a variety of backgrounds across the province and the country should be able to develop their own creative talents and to get to know the published work of some of our most talented professional writers and artists.
